Future Hendrix has had one hell of a year and we have yet to even reach the mid way point. The ATL superstar rapper seems to be chasing every prestigious accolade imaginable and is on pace to do just that. His single “Mask Off” was certified platinum last week with over a million sales.

In mid-February of this year, Future gifted his listeners with an unprecedented back to back album release. Both projects debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. This feat recognized him as the first artist to replace himself with the top spot in nearly fifty years (1968 Simon & Garfunkel) and even they did not reach No.1 status.

Future was released on February 17 and HNDRXX exactly one week later on February 24.

Both albums were drenched in a slew of notable hits; “Selfish ft. Rihanna,” “Coming Out Strong ft. The Weeknd,” “Feds Did A Sweep,” and of course “Mask Off.”

“Mask Off” took on a life of its own and took social media by storm with the #MaskOffChallenge. A few remixes and freestyles also helped in propelling this record to its platinum status.

Through all the success, Future remains humble and as long as the music keeps coming there’s no doubt the fans will continue their support.
