Beyoncé’s sixth studio album Lemonade celebrated its one-year anniversary on Sunday, April 23. A day after, to celebrate (or by sheer coincidence) Queen Bey announced the Formation Scholars program, a new scholarship initiative for young women who are “unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious and confident.”
The scholarship will be rewarded to one current or incoming or graduate student that attends the following universities: Howard University, Spelman College, Berklee College of Music, and Parsons School of Design.
The scholarship program will launch this fall. Students can receive information and an application for the scholarship from participating schools.
