Whitney Houston already has a powerful legacy as one of the most talented singers of our time; therefore it is only natural to shine a new light on that legacy.
Documentarians Nick Broomfield (“Kurt & Courtney”) and Rudi Dolezal (“Freddie Mercury, The Untold Story”) will premiere a new documentary entitled “Whitney: Can I Be Me” at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York tonight.
The film contains concert footage, testimonials from those who knew her, as well as never before seen backstage footage of Whitney in a very intimate setting. The focus of the documentary is on the boundless talent of Whitney Houston and her battles with addiction.
