Philly artist PnB Rock visits Ebro In The Morning to discuss current and future projects as well as his troubled upbringing and how he was able to get out of that to become one of the hottest performing acts today.

Rock, named after the rap god Rakim, will be performing on the Festival Stage at Hot 97’s Summer Jam for the first time this year, and it’s what he’s referred to as “definitely and accomplishment to have made it to the list.”

PnB has been up to a lot these days with a new album GTTM: Going Thru the Motions out now, as well as 2 new songs on the The Fate of The Furious soundtrack, not to mention his hit single “Selfish” currently climbing the charts.

It hasn’t always been roses though as we learn about the 33 months he spent in prison for robbery. It may have been a blessing in disguise though as behind bars is where he made the decision to turn his life around and become what Rosenberg has anointed him, ” the 2017 street Keith Sweat.”
