Donald Glover and his brother Stephen Glover are set to create a “Deadpool” animated TV series for FX.
Donald Glover is on fire, and the heat seems to keep coming. He has been recently tapped by FX, and Marvel to be the showrunner for an untitled “Deadpool” animated series. The show has been greenlit for 10-episodes, and no word on much more has been released yet.
The “Deadpool” franchise and the FX network is a perfect fit and now add in Donald and Stephen Glover at the helm and well that is just a dream scenario we never expected. Donald Glover is hot off his Golden Globe-winning series “Atlanta” and it looks like FX has an appreciation for the work he is doing.
Donald and Stephen Glover will serve as executive producers and writers of the “Deadpool” series. According to Variety, there are no confirmed voice actors at this time and it leaves us to wonder if they’ll be able to snag live-action “Deadpool” star, Ryan Reynolds.
This will only get more exciting as more information rolls out, and with Comic-Con season approaching that information will come sooner than later.
