The 2017 BET Awards nominations are out and Lemonade still proves to be a popular drink and Beyoncé’s most critically-acclaimed album to date. After opening up the 2016 BET Awards with a breathtaking performance of “Freedom” featuring Kendrick Lamar, the singer leads nominations for this year’s awards with seven.

After taking home “Video OF The Year” at last year’s show for “Formation,” this year some Queen Bey’s nominations include “Album of The Year” for Lemonade, “Viewer’s Choice Award” “Video Director of The Year, and a double nomination for “Best Collaboration” for “Freedom” and “Shining” with Jay Z and DJ Khaled. Beyoncé will go head to head with sister Solange in two categories: “Video of The Year” (“Sorry” vs. “Cranes In The Sky”) and “Best Female R&B Artist.”

Chance the Rapper, who scored four nominations, will head-to-head with Kendrick Lamar, Drake, J. Cole, Future and Big Sean for “Best Male Hip-Hop Artist.” Nicki Minaj will defend her crown ad BET’s “Best Female Hip-Hop Artist” by going against rival Remy Ma. Minaj has won every year since 2010, so this will be spicy for sure. Migos, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige and Kehlani have all been nominated as well, just to name a few.

The 2017 BET Awards will take place June 25 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. For more info on the awards weekend and this year’s BET Experience go here. See the full list of nominees below.
