SurveyMonkey provides online surveys for companies to get feedback from customers, potential customers, and employees. While Serena Williams is taking time from the court due to her pregnancy, she’s making major moves off the court now.
SurveyMonkey has announced that Williams has joined the board of the online survey site. SurveyMonkey’s CEO Zander Lurie was looking to add more outside board members, specifically from other industries. The two had dinner at board member (and friend of Serena’s friend) Sheryl Sandberg’s house last fall and hit it off.
“Everything just came together easily,” Williams said in an interview with Fortune. “I want to spread this knowledge,” she said.
SurveyMonkey also announced that Intuit CEO Brad Smith would also join its board.
