Tyler has become synonymous with music festivals, to the point where he’s created his own Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival which he hosts annually and has become very successful.
Although fans are used to seeing the Odd Future frontman on the big stage during the summer, some Canadian fans are going to have to miss out. On May 24th it was reported that Tyler has pulled out of the Toronto’s NXNE festival as its headliner.
The 10-day music and arts festival is set to begin on June 16, 2017 and has garnered the likes of artist such as; Post Malone, Tinie Tempah, Kaytranada, Amir Obè, and Talib Kweli.
During a recent press release the festival issued a statement:
“Due to circumstances beyond our control, Tyler the Creator, will no longer be performing at the festival,”
No official reason as to why Odd Man Tyler has redacted himself from the festivities, however, he does have a lot on his plate and has had some issues performing outside of the country.
