The mystery surround the 4:44 campaign that appeared around NYC has been solved.

The numbers were first though to be the title of a new Jay-Z album, but it’s been revealed it ‘s something even more spectacular: a film featuring Lupita Nyong’o and Mahershala Ali.

A black and white clip was released online, showing Ali hitting a punching bag and seeming to be coached by Danny Glover. While Lupita didn’t make an appearance in the clip, her name was in the credits.


Sprint  CEO Marcel Claure also took Twitter to share the clip of the Spring x Tidal collab, and also said that more details about the film would be rolling out this week.


While we’re not sure whether this film will be in theaters or streamed exclusively on Tidal, we can’t wait to see what is next.
