Adam West, who was most famous for his role as “Batman” in the iconic character’s television series in the 1960’s has unfortunately passed away at the age of 88. The younger generation would probably know him as the whimsical mayor of “Family Guy’s” Quahog. West did a lot of voice acting after his acting days and he will still have two last hurrahs after his passing. He’ll voice the character in the follow-up to the “Batman ‘66” animated movie “Return of the Caped Crusaders.”

His family has said in a statement “Our dad always saw himself as The Bright Knight, and aspired to make a positive impact on his fans’ lives. He was and always will be our hero.” Rest in peace Adam West, you lived a good life.
