In somewhat of a surprise, John McCain states that he Barack Obama was indeed a better leader than current U.S president, Donald Trump.

This statement comes in the wake of Trump’s recent Tweet where he criticizes London Mayor Sadiq Khan become of the stabbing attack in the U.K.:

John McCain was questioned by The Guardian and asked what he thought about the President’s tweet and this was his response,

“What do you think the message is? The message is that America doesn’t want to lead,” McCain said, while adding of the rest of the world: “They are not sure of American leadership, whether it be in Siberia or whether it be in Antarctica.”

Asked if America’s standing on the global stage was better under Barack Obama, McCain, a fervent critic of the previous administration’s foreign policy, responded: “As far as American leadership is concerned, yes.”

There you have it from a known opponent of the Obama Administration, John McCain. If even he knows that Trump is doing a poor job as a leader, and can admit that publicly what is everyone else missing? The denial is deep.
