Pusha T dropped King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude back in December 2015 and the King Push album was supposed to surface several months later. In a new interview, the G.O.O.D. Music President not only reveals that the project is almost done, but that Kanye West is producing most of it.
“I’m going to say it’s about 85 percent done,” Pusha said. “That’s a confident 85 percent. That’s a strong 85 percent. Great lyrics, great beats. Beats are phenomenal. It’s wrap time.”
“It’s mostly Kanye West. It’s good beats, I’m giving you the science! Good beats! Crack!” Pusha exclaims.
King Push was originally slated to have production work from Pharrell and Chad Hugo of The Neptunes, and we might very well still get beats from the legendary duo. Watch the full interview with Pusha T below to hear some updates on his King Push album.
