After winning the 2017 NBA championship, it looks like the Golden State Warriors will make the traditional stop to the White House for a celebration.
There were many tweets circling the internet saying that the team had unanimously decided not to visit the White House from multiple sources but none of them apparently had the inside scoop. CNBC’s Josh Brown got Twitter talking after posting his tweet sharing the news, but he got his information from Mike Sigton’s tweet, the former director of operations of Universal Studios. Neither got their info from a Warrior, so what is the truth?

On Tuesday, the Warriors released an official statement saying that they haven’t been invited to Washington, nor did they say what their response would be if they were.
All we know for sure is that the Warriors won the championship, Trump hasn’t invited them to his neck of the woods and Kevin Durant is MVP.
