Legendary hip hop music video director Benny Boom stops by the show to talk about his long-awaited full feature film “All Eyez On Me,” a biopic about the life and death of the iconic Tupac Shakur.

Boom who has directed everything from Nas to Eminem videos seems like the perfect fit to direct a  movie about the rapper who’s life played out almost exactly like a music video.

“We decided it was about the emotional attachments because as big as this movie is, it’s still an intimate movie. Because its about one singular figure and his relationships with all these people, and how at any point in time in his life and you’ve seen it, this one person could have said ‘don’t do that’ – and it may have changed the trajectory of his life and he might still be here.”
