Jerry Bruckheimer is in the developing stages of a new Fox series that will be giving an insight of infamous criminals with an episode starring the King of the South, T.I. One of “Atlanta’s Most Wanted” episodes will have Tip acting out Marcus Armstrong, the son of a notorious criminal who gets initiated into a vice squad while holding a major life private piece in the puzzle.
“I am honored to partner with Fox and Bruckheimer on what is truly a passion project for me. It’s going to be amazing to see my city represented in this fashion.” T.I. told The Hollywood Reporter
The show has also added writer Rodney James, who is known for “The Boondocks” and “Everybody Hates Chris” to the team. This is all executive produced by Rob Hardy, Brian Sher, Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reid. In 2018 pilot will be announced. As well as “Atlanta’s Most Wanted,” T.I. is also working on another sitcom with Kevin Heart titled “The Studio” that will be featured on Showtime. “Family Hustle” has also been finished along with Tiny & Tip’s divorce going through recently.
