Hosted by Mouse Jones, #LiveCivilDay encouraged the youth to lead active lifestyles and to stay fit and motivated all summer long. The 100 participants, consisting of three local basketball organizations, were gifted brand new customized jerseys, sneakers, t-shirts, backpacks, Beats By Dre Power Beats and a months supply of Gatorade. Attendees were gifted with Adidas snack packs, sneakers, and t-shirts.

Jersey native Kyle Anderson of the San Antonio Spurs was there to help coach and motivate the youth and stress the importance of staying healthy and following your passion, “Growing up my dad took me to a lot of events and I always enjoyed them, so giving back and supporting events now is only right… Its extra special when it’s the home state too.”

Five lucky kids were also selected to participate in a half-court shot contest in which the winner got a signed game jersey from fellow Jersey native and Clevland Cavalier Kyrie Irving.
