According to a new exposè, published by Buzzfeed, several parents have begun speaking out about allegations that R. Kelly is keeping their daughters in his guest houses in Georgia and Illinois, as part of some sort of cult. The report claims the daughters give up their cell phones, call R. Kelly “daddy” and cut off communication with family members.

Despite Illinois and Georgia police checking his homes and finding nothing suspicious, the parents still believe their daughters are in a bad situation.

One parent quoted by Buzzfeed said;

“When we got to go backstage with R. Kelly, we stayed there over two hours… One-on-one, with just me and my daughter and him. We went back to talk about the music. He listened to her CD. He was going to help her with her CD, and I was really impressed with him at first, because I have always been an R. Kelly fan… In the back of our minds, we were thinking [my daughter] could be around him if I was with her… It didn’t really hit home. Even with the Aaliyah situation, now that I think about it, ‘Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number’ … but you don’t think about that. You grew up with the song, and you like the song.”

No statement from R. Kelly has been made at this time, but with R. Kelly’s troubling past, this is not looking good for the R&B singer.
