Republican Senator John McCain received a standing ovation on Capital Hill today as he made his return to vote on the healthcare bill that will repeal Obamacare after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

Just a week after his brain cancer diagnosed, McCain flew to D.C to vote on the controversial health care bill. With his vote, the bill passed. McCain’s vote put the vote at 50-50 and with Mike Pence with the tie-breaking vote, the Republicans got their way.

In a video courtesy of Boston News, you can see the room standing for McCain as he made his entrance onto the floor. Regardless of political differences, the wellbeing of others trumps all and it’s great to see McCain standing tall.
