Donald Trump Jr. may finally be forced to appear in court for his 2016 meeting with a Russian lawyer. Justice Department Special Counsel, Robert Mueller, has issued grand jury subpoenas regarding Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting at Trump Tower, according to reports from CNN.
The subpoena is asking for documents and testimony from people involved in the meeting. Which means things can unfold quickly regarding the matter. Shortly before Trump Jr.’s meeting in 2016, a disclosed email surfaced indicating the Russians offered damaging information on Hillary Clinton. The subpoena may force new facts to be brought to the public.
