Now what do we have here!? Another potential fall from greatness? Another break the internet on a quiet and calm weekday story? All of those things seem to be true.
Late Wednesday evening (Aug.2,) TMZ reported that a homeless by the name of John Jolly was stabbed to death in Midtown NYC, and the culprit being charged for the murder is Kidd Creole, a member of the legendary Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five crew.
This is disheartening news for a few reasons, not only did a man lose his life, but reports claim that it was over a nonsensical back and forth. John Jolly (victim) is said to have engaged Nathanial Glover a.k.a. Kidd Creole by using a homosexual slur when referring to him which resulted in a violent retaliation. Jolly died at Bellevue Hospital shortly after.
Cops say the 57-year-old rapper was taken into custody Wednesday and surveillance footage was used to identify Creole.
