The city of Atlanta is known for constantly providing Hip-Hop fans with new emerging stars. Recent years have confirmed this statement. With 2017 winding down, a newcomer named 24Heavy looks to stake his claim and gain the same mainstream notoriety as his peers.
A native of ATL’s West Side Vince City better known as “The Bluff,” Heavy grew up with some of today’s most notable artists including YFN Lucci, Ralo, Nick Grant, Young Scooter and more. In fact, Heavy recorded some of his earlier music in Lucci’s home.
After a 6-year legal set back, Heavy dropped his debut project Heavy World over the summer under the umbrella of Atlanta’s rising independent label, Never Eat Alone Entertainment.
Following the release, his single “Sacrifices” began gaining traction in Atlanta. Inspired by personal life situations, the track has the heavy 808s and trap drums that Atlanta is known for. Today, he unveils the official music video for that song. Watch the video above.
